Living consciously in our fast-paced world can be a challenge, but it is essential for our well-being. By making conscious choices and being aware of our actions, we can lead more fulfilling and meaningful lives. Here are 10 ways to live consciously:

1. Apply patient perseverance

Not everything is meant to happen immediately, it takes a bit of determination and time to sometimes benefit from the fruits of your efforts. Perseverance is the determiner of whether you truly want something. Patience is the determiner of whether you have faith in the path taken.

2. Follow your passion

Enjoy being alive and pursue things that bring you joy. Surrender to the guidance of your higher self. Your higher self sends your guidance energetically -- through the sensation of excitement.
#1. Act on your excitement, your passion, whatever is most exciting to you, in the moment. When you action your excitement, your higher self then knows you are listening and will continue to send you opportunities through synchronicities.
#2. Do the best of your ability to act on your excitement. Take it as far as you can go until you cannot take it any further.
#3. Act on your excitement/passion with absolutely no insistence, assumption, or expectation of what the outcome should be.
#4. Choose to remain optimistic -- regardless of what happens.

3. Assist others freely

One of the most powerful ways to live consciously is to support or assist others. Share your knowledge, skills, and resources with those in need. Lead a hand when the opportunity arises. Volunteer your time and energy for causes that are important to you. Do so without expecting anything in return, do so without using your offering as a bargaining chip to receive something in return, and do so freely and willingly. By helping others, you not only make a positive impact on their lives but also deepen your sense of purpose and connection to the world. Lead by example, not merely by lip service.

4. Practice gratitude

Take a moment each day to reflect on the things you are grateful for. Gratitude helps shift your focus from what you lack to what you have, fostering a sense of contentment and appreciation for the present moment. By cultivating gratitude, you can live more consciously and find joy in the simple pleasures of life.

5. Nurture your relationships

Invest time and effort in building and maintaining meaningful relationships. Connect with your loved ones on a deeper level, listen actively, and be present when spending time with them. By nurturing your relationships, you can foster a sense of belonging and support, which are essential for living a conscious and fulfilling life.

6. Practice presence

Be fully present in the moment and pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, and sensations, all without judgment. Presence allows you to observe your experiences and helps you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you. By practicing presence, you can make conscious choices and respond to situations more intentionally and compassionately.

7. Assess your belief systems

Constantly investigate your belief systems. Release & replace the un-preferred beliefs: fear-based beliefs, and the beliefs not in alignment with who you prefer to be. Be willing and actively accept that you will be challenged in life, and accept to go through those challenges with grace, and be humbled. Seek out new knowledge, skills, and experiences that expand your horizons and challenge your perspectives and beliefs. By continuously learning and growing, you can stay curious, adaptable, and open-minded, enabling you to embrace new opportunities and possibilities.

8. Cultivate self-care practices

Take care of your physical, mental, and emotional state. Prioritize self-care activities that nourish your body, mind, and soul. This can include exercise, meditation, eating consciously, getting enough rest, practicing self-compassion and self-worth. By taking care of yourself, you'll show up fully in the world and make conscious choices that support your overall quality of life.

9. Speak truth, act in truth

To understand speaking truth, one must know what is untruthful speech. Speak no lies or half-truths, do not participate in gossip, and do not succumb to exaggeration. No speaking lies to deceive others, speaking harsh words to only hurt others, slanderous talk, or meaningless chatter. When one refrains from these, what remains is truthful speech.

There is only one yardstick to measure truthful action, be it physical, vocal, or mental, and that is whether the action helps or harms others. Thus no killing, stealing, committing misconduct, and inflicting harm onto others or oneself. When one refrains from these actions, what remains is truthful action.

10. Practice silence and stillness

With all the hustle and bustle of life, it is good practice to find time to sit in silence and stillness. Put aside distractions, find a quiet space alone, and observe your breath without any judgment -- calmly, patiently, and persistently. Only in the presence of now can one experience the truth.

Living consciously is a lifelong journey that requires intention, self-reflection, and continuous growth. By incorporating these 10 practices into your daily life, you can cultivate a more conscious and meaningful existence, both for yourself and the world around you.
